Long fur, short fur, brown fur, spotted fur! We had the pleasure of taking part in the April 10th Bark for Life event,in Tarrytown, NY, where we met so many adorable dogs and lots of wonderful people! It was the perfect place to share our newest book Mistaken for a Dog .
A warm sun shone brightly as people and dogs of all ages embarked (woof, woof!) on a walk around the beautiful grounds of the historic Lyndhurst estate. Meanwhile we, along with Barbara from Aardvark Pet Supplies and other exciting vendors and contributors, geared up to greet them upon their return…
The morning rounded off nicely with a doggy “kissing contest” (who gives the best slobbery kisses!?), a dog/owner lookalike contest, and lots of exciting raffle prizes. A huge thank-you to everyone that came out to support the cause, and to those that stopped at our blue and white striped tent to say hello!

We had wonderfully successful book signing at our favorite pet store, Aardvark Pet Supplies in Pleasantville, NY this month. It was so special to meet everyone and to sign books for readers young and old.
Charlie, the star of the book, was there with Author Thomas and Charlie even signed a few books himself -using his paw as a stamp!
Several visitors bought books to send to grandchildren, grandnieces and nephews, and other family members. We’ve been receiving such lovely feedback (and photos!) from families as they opened their new books!

Thank you all for your support and positive encouragement, we’re so excited to be sharing our new book with you!

Tom recently read “Little Farmer Big Dreams” to students at the Park Elementary School in Ossining, New York. Here are some of their enthusiastic comments:
- “Maybe the boy planted the seeds upside down and that’s why the potatoes grew underground.”
- “That boy sure had a lot of dreams!”
- “I planted a garden with my Grandma last year and it took all summer to grow. The waiting was really, really hard!”
